Shahab has been a landscape designer at H+N+S since August 2024. He is driven by a vision to create sustainable, nature-inclusive landscapes that harmonize natural elements with urban life.

BACKGROUND

Shahab Rahiman (1996) began his career as an architect in Iran after completing his bachelor's degree in architectural engineering. He designed several villas and gardens during this time, which sparked his strong interest in landscape design. This led him to pursue further studies in Sustainable Architecture and Landscape Design at Politecnico di Milano in Italy. His graduation project focused on revitalizing Carrara, Italy, and enhancing its biodiversity and promoting sustainable mobility by representing the historical railways' traces. Within his studies, he spent a semester as an exchange student at Wageningen University (WUR) in the Netherlands, where he was deeply inspired by the Dutch landscape. This newfound inspiration led him to an internship with H+N+S, where he gained significant experience working on a range of projects over the course of a year.
