Waterwoud featured in Architectuur Lokaal

In November 2019, the nature-inclusive look-out 'Waterwoud' was officially opened. The look-out is a gift from the dredging company van Oord to the city of Rotterdam on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the family business. The design for this special object on the Island of Brienenoord was made by H+N+S in collaboration with NEXT architects. Waterwoud is the first Maaspoint where Rotterdammers can experience the river Maas and tidal currents up close.
